More extreme (and more recent) is Project Lavender, where an AI system scraped metadata and social media signals to auto-generate bombing targets in Gaza with minimal human review. Under such conditions, I imagine that law will continue on its current trajectory, becoming increasingly “merely” symbolic, with rulers intervening directly at the source of behavior itself.
