The Unholy Saga of Phoenix Hyperspace Highlight

Splashtop is absolutely nothing special. It seems intriguing at first, because most of the machines it shipped on have a second power button that causes the machine to boot into the instant-on environment instead of Windows; and because it really does boot very, very fast. On my Lenovo S10-3, it genuinely starts up in less than 3 seconds, off an Atom and (I think) a spinning disk. It's very impressive, but there is no mystery or magic.
